Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 2026
Our Commitment
PrTask is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
PrTask targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, which is the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act, the US ADA (Title III), and Section 508. We regularly audit our platform against these guidelines and remediate any identified gaps. Our conformance status is partially conformant, meaning we conform to most but not all WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria, and we are actively working to achieve full conformance.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML markup for proper screen reader navigation
- Sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background
- Keyboard navigable interface for all interactive elements
- Responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes
- Text alternatives for non-text content where applicable
- Dark mode and light mode support respecting OS preferences
- Clear focus indicators on all interactive elements for keyboard navigation
- Minimum interactive target size of 24x24 CSS pixels
ADA Compliance
PrTask is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and equivalent international accessibility standards. We regularly audit our platform to ensure that all users, including those with disabilities, can access and use our services effectively. Our goal is to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements across all pages and features.
European Accessibility Act (EAA)
PrTask complies with the European Accessibility Act (EU) 2019/882, effective June 28, 2025, and the harmonized standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1. This requires that our website and web applications conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA at minimum for users in the EU. PrTask is committed to meeting the updated WCAG 2.2 Level AA standard as the EN 301 549 V4.1.1 standard is adopted. We apply these accessibility standards to all users regardless of their geographic location.
WCAG 2.2 Level AA Compliance
PrTask targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, which includes the following new criteria beyond WCAG 2.1:
- 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum): focused elements are not entirely hidden by other content
- 2.4.13 Focus Appearance: focused elements have a clearly visible focus indicator
- 2.5.7 Dragging Movements: alternatives to drag-and-drop interactions are provided
- 2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum): interactive targets are at least 24x24 CSS pixels
- 3.2.6 Consistent Help: help mechanisms are in the same relative location across pages
- 3.3.7 Redundant Entry: users are not required to re-enter information they have already provided
Known Limitations
While we strive to ensure accessibility across our platform, some third-party content or newly added features may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria. We are actively working to identify and resolve any accessibility gaps.
