Account Settings — Configure Your PrTask Experience

The Settings page is your central hub for configuring every aspect of your PrTask account. From here, you can update your profile information including display name, avatar, and email address. You can configure notification preferences to control which events trigger email alerts — choose to receive all notifications, only important ones like payment confirmations and review requests, or disable email notifications entirely. Your profile settings determine how other users see you on the platform, including on the leaderboard and in pull request reviews.

Payment configuration is a critical part of your account settings. Developers need to set up a withdrawal method (bank transfer or PayPal) to receive bounty payouts, while clients configure deposit methods (credit card or bank transfer) to fund task bounties. PrTask supports multiple payment gateways including QR Ph, credit cards, GCash, GrabPay, Maya, and direct bank transfers — each can be individually enabled or disabled based on your preference. You can also manage saved payment cards, configure automatic invoicing, and set up QR code-based payments for quick transactions.

Security and verification settings protect your account and enable access to all platform features. Connect multiple identity providers (Google, GitHub, Microsoft, Okta) to your account for flexible authentication options. Enable two-factor authentication via authenticator app or email for additional security. Complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process by submitting a government-issued ID to unlock higher withdrawal limits and build trust with clients. Privacy settings let you control the visibility of your profile and activity, and timezone configuration ensures dates and deadlines display correctly for your location.
